Today I am grateful for;

Some sunshine. It's been oddly cold here at night lately, and not all that warm for August during the day. In many ways it hardly feels like we've had much true summer warmth this year.

My sweetie came with me to the riding barn today. My riding friend couldn't ride today, so he came to make sure someone was there (I don't ride if no one is around). We had fun snuggling little kitties, and chatting with another rider.

River did well today. He was a bit sluggish at first, and didn't want to commit to the collection, but after a bit of work I got a very good canter and some solid trotting out of him.

Coming home and my sweetie did a bit more demolition, and I kept going with rounding up odds and ends, and putting the things I wanted to donate into the vehicle.

Having a bit of chill time after supper just reading and chatting with my sweetie.
