Today I am grateful for:

Warm clothes for going outside. While it's not as cold if you're out of the wind, the wind is COLD!!!

I didn't do much today, but that's okay. My Sweetie got up earlier, and went to town to pick up material for some electrical work, a bit of groceries, the mail, and some paint.

He did do some work on the outlets in the basement again, which is great.

After doing chores we both went to see River.

River got some extra mash because one of R's horses absolutely refused to be caught today, even though it was very cold and you'd think he would want to come into the barn and get warmed up and get some nice mash, but no.

K was trying to catch this horse, he is often the person who brings them in for extra food, but he said Journey was just being a complete lunatic out there today, as sometimes happens.

Poor K. It's kind of a personal feeling when a horse does that kind of thing.

We chatted with him for a while, and got to see R too. I haven't seen either one of them pretty much at all this last week or so.

River and I's work today was okay. It's not easy to work in that kind of cold, but if you're moving it's not too bad. More work on the side pass and such. At one point there was an enormous gust of wind that really shook the fabric of the arena, but he did okay with it.

We came home and I cooked while my Sweetie worked in the basement.

Then we watched "Paint". At one time I thought it was actually supposed to be a serious biopic of Bob Ross, but no, it is not. I did realize that before watching it, which is good, because if you didn't have that expectation, it's a pretty good movie. Yes it's funny, not very complex, but good. I enjoyed it.
