Feb. 19th, 2019 11:36 pmThe busy and stimulating last few days, to distract me from the miserably cold weather. On Friday, my sweetie and I went to the city, and got art supplies, and poked around in the antique/collectibles store that I mentioned before (enjoying his YouTube videos).
Over the weekend, for three days there was a horsemanship clinic that I attended. River did great, we learned lots, and it was a good jolt from my usual routine. It meant some sacrifice; I had to get up at 6 am the first day, and 7 for the next two days. Given my insane internal clock, it was nearly a complete reversal for me. I didn't really sleep, and I was kind of a zombie, but I did okay. It also meant seeing very little of my husband for his set of days off, and that sucked.
Today I was able to finally sleep in, and get a real night's sleep for about the first time in four days, and it felt SOOOOOO good. I also finally got to the pottery studio for the first time in almost two weeks, and I was really digging it. I did a bunch of glazing, trimmed a jug, and put a handle on it (and the handle pleases me), and recycled some clay. Almost six hours all told. A busy night in the studio, but I missed it so much.
