Mar. 13th, 2025 10:33 pmToday I am grateful for:
Though I had some fretful dreams, I was able to move on. The dreams were things like I was driving my car down back alleys, sort of looking for something, but not doing a great job of driving. Feeling like I wasn't in control, bumping into things, annoying people.
The other dream was kind of related, where I was at a gym, but forgot my purse somewhere. I was getting upset at everyone who worked at the gym (Paul Rudd for whatever reason was working there, as himself), but I was very embarrassed that it was in my car all along.
The other dream was that all the MAGA wannabees here in Canada started forming militia groups, just like the last time when they did the thing with semi trucks, only this time there was no tolerance of their behavior by either the government or the general population.
So not an easy night's sleep.
Today had that weird feeling to it that there was nothing "scripted" for today. Like the writers had used everything up on those dreams, and the day itself was sort of blank, so I filled it in with "repeats". Routine things like chores and housework.
I did the dishes, changed the cat litter, changed the sheets and washed them, and started quinoa for supper.
I did chores, and it had been snowing pretty heavily today, so Wonder and the ponies were wet/icy. I put blankets on them all. I don't understand why they don't go stand in their sheds, I mean, that's why I put sheds in their pens.
By then my Sweetie got home, we finished up the chores together, and we went inside.
It felt weird to have him home fairly early, but it was still light outside for so long.
We watched another episode of Fringe, but it's hard to enjoy because the characters are doing things and you're like "why would they do that, when X would have made more sense" or "yeah, that's not even remotely possible".
This is only the second episode, and the "bad guy" is killing women to steal their pituitary glands because he needs the hormones extracted from them to live. I'm like "you can literally buy those hormone replacement pills, same thing". Every hormone that the pituitary gland makes, can be purchased, and are mostly synthetic now. At the very least, he could have bought pig pituitary glands which are available for lab use.
