Today I am grateful for:

More beautiful weather.

Getting decent sleep.

Getting chores done, and heading to town for pottery. It's nice that I won't have to go for groceries today, since we did that on Saturday.

I talked to two members of our "class time" before they left, and that was nice.

I assembled the parts of another tea pot, and it looks good so far. Then I trimmed a bowl I made, and a vase, and a bowl my Sweetie made (all thrown on Saturday). They were all a little bit softer than I would normally trim, so I had to be careful.

That was about all I had time for, so I cleaned up. I did chat a bit with a "newer" potter, who was curious about the last couple of meetings we've had, the ones about the communications committee. It made me think...you know what? There haven't been ANY minutes from those meetings sent out as emails like they should be doing, and nothing from the last email about "should we have a cap on the number of people in the pottery studio".

That is one of the jobs of the executive, to keep people informed, and they aren't doing it.

So, maybe that means I have to stir up some more crap.

Then I went to Winner's for a while, found a good, solid t-shirt (men's, cotton) a lipstick, and a bar of Doc Bronner's soap for a MUCH better price (and the old, larger size, so its an old bar of soap for sure) than what you see in stores now. I like that soap, but it is PRICEY these days.

Then I came home after getting some fuel. It was so nice to drive home and there's still sunshine, and the roads are clear. Even better, I didn't have anyone behind me on the first stretch of road out of town (usually on that first stretch, there are tons of people frothing at the lips trying to pass me because I do the speed limit, and their lives are far too busy and important for that). I prefer not having people behind me, as much as possible.

If you are unaware of Alberta drivers, dear gentle reader, they are often very aggressive drivers who tend to automatically drive at LEAST ten kilometers faster than the posted speed limit, and often twenty or thirty kilometers faster if they're in a white "work truck".

I drive the speed limit, and it drives those people NUTS.

Anyhow. I got home, returned Dandy to his usual pen, and came inside. We made supper from leftovers, and watched an episode of "Fringe".
