gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Warmer weather, and the snow is melting.
Getting good sleep.
My Sweetie made breakfast.
We did some household things. He went outside to fix the septic pump (if it tips to one side or something, you have to go out and correct it so it pumps things out properly. We have a holding tank and a septic field.). I changed the sheets, added water to the turtle tank, changed the cat litter, and did dishes.
Then I got a bit more serious about cleaning the counter top beside the stove. I put a few things away that were just taking up space, tossed a few things, took everything else off so I could clean the whole surface (some things are there all the time, but stuff collects around them) and cleaned the tile back splash.
We went outside and did chores, then went to see River.
K was finishing up in the barn and chatted with us while we were getting River ready. There was also another rider there finishing up, and I chatted with her. She's having a lot of issues with her back this winter.
River did well, and found some pep after I did some energetic lunging and such to wake him up a bit.
He did well on our Liberty work.
I rode, and worked on the current patterns. He did well with that. I did get him to stand still while I knelt and held the open umbrella. I also stood without the umbrella.
We came home and my Sweetie make supper, and we watched an episode of "Fringe".
