Apr. 3rd, 2025 11:51 pmToday I am grateful for:
Beautiful weather.
Getting up in time to get to town for a doctor's appointment. It's a follow up on my acid reflux issue.
The doctor says that the prescription I got was to see if it helped (it seems to), but the protocol is to NOT take the drug for two months, to see if the reflux returns. I guess it is to rule out other things, or.. something? So that's what we'll do.
I naturally need to do some more tests, because there are always more tests. These are more about just regular health baselines, since I haven't been to the doctor in some time.
My Sweetie met up with me in town after work.
I had some other things to do near the doctor's office, like mail a card for Mom, see if the bank would take a stale check (yes, since it was from the government), went into Nutter's.
Then we went to the clinic that is now doing stuff like blood work, since that isn't being done at the hospital anymore. Thanks, Conservatives.
After that, we had a tasty vegetarian burrito at the only place I've been that makes good ones.
Then we went to two thrift stores. I'm low key hoping to find a fun prom dress, since we might have a party at the barn where we're all going to dress up in our prom gowns, only none of mine fit (I mean, that was thirty years ago!).
I did not find a gown, but found some DVDs and such.
Then we went for a walk at the park in town for about half an hour or so. That was nice. We don't walk enough in the winter.
Then we came home and my husband went to bed SUPER early, and I will likely watch a movie or something.
