Apr. 14th, 2025 12:07 amToday I am grateful for:
Getting very good sleep, the kind where you feel like you went "to the other side" with the depth of the dreaming.
After eating, I enlisted the help of my husband to move some stuff around so I could vacuum up all the hair. The big chair we sit in most of the time, etc.
The area rug by the computer looks very clean again.
I also spent some time in the cat room (a sun room that pretty much is where the litter lives) sweeping in there, and vacuuming off the giant cat tree.
Sometimes it gets to me, how gross everything really is, when you start looking at it. Under our bed was gross with hair, even though I do go under there regularly.
Then we took out the garbage and the recycling and the compost pail, changed the sheets, and I washed two of our pillows. Pillows are also gross.
I sweep ALL THE TIME, but there's always heaps of hair and gray dander everywhere you look, crusting up in the corners and in the spaces between furniture and the walls.
Then we did chores, and went to the barn.
River was in a good mood, but still hard to motivate him to be forward. He did well on the yields and such, and I did stand on him again with the umbrella for a count of thirty.
Overall it was a decent session. It's nice to not have to work on a pattern for the moment.
We came home, made supper, and watched an episode of "Fringe".
