gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Decent weather.
I had some trouble sleeping again, though not restless legs. Not sure what's up.
I talked with Sister E, and she was curious about how to start doing liberty work with her horse, so we talked about the barn where I'm at, and how there is a client page that she could maybe join to use the videos.
I don't know if she would be committed to doing the work, but she could try.
Her freezer got unplugged somehow when the contractors were working on their floor a while ago, but she doesn't think it was their fault. So all their food was spoiled and had to be thrown out.
I did chores and went to see River. No one around today, and no lesson for the woman with health challenges. Would have been nice if R had told me though, I had to guess.
River did well, though slowly and fairly unenthusiastically. He did very well with me standing on him with the umbrella AND the raincoat, and tossing them both to one side while I was standing.
I came home and worked with Wonder and Dandy, first in the round pen and then out in their big pasture. Dandy will stay with me now if I jog and he trots, Wonder is not sure about speeding up. Both did well with staying with me to walk around the bigger pasture.
Wonder was very sweet and affectionate again.
It's great to be able to walk around the horse pasture again, and wonderful to be working with Dandy and Wonder out there too.
The neighbors were having some kind of get together, and had a fire, but oddly enough it smelled like burning plastic and/or garbage. Seems odd to have a gathering and burn crap like that.
Then I came in and talked with my Sweetie. It sounds like he got to sleep in a bit today, and went for supper at the Olive Garden with his parents and sister and her husband. He also went to a rock climbing gym there, and took his adult nephew with him.
