Mostly nice weather, with a patch of clouds that looked like a storm but didn't amount to much here.
Decent sleep.
I tried speaking with Sister E, but that didn't pan out. She's very ADHD (not diagnosed, but really...spend five minutes with her) and rarely does one actually have a conversation with her. Most of the time she's trying to do six other things but for some reason answers the phone and tries to talk, but what you get is actually a sort of commentary on what she's trying to do, snippets of the conversation she's also having with someone else, the sound of things crashing in the background (she's also usually trying to cook, or organize furniture or unpack groceries).
After a few minutes, she declares that her husband needs to go to a clinic immediately, so I hope he's okay.
I did a bit more hand washing of some more wool things before putting them away, and some of those thin shirts that I hesitate to just toss in our machine.
Then I spent some time shoring up the umbrella I've been using with River. It has these nice metal caps for the ribs to cover the ends, and they sew onto the fabric of the umbrella. I had lost one, so I gave a few new stitches to the other ones and made a makeshift repair on the rib that lost it's cap.
Then I went to the barn for my lesson. I got to say Hi at least to the woman whose lesson is before mine. I quite like her, but rarely get to visit with her for more than a few minutes.
We had a good lesson, working on aspects of controlling distance in our circles and subtleties of whip communication.
Then we worked on our freestyle, and R had a very good suggestion of using prop street lamps for my "Singin' in the Rain" theme. I really want to do this, but it's either going to be fairly big bucks to buy something, or lots of effort trying to make something.
I came home and worked with Dandy and Wonder, and my Sweetie walked with us for a while. I got good connection with each of them today.
Then my Sweetie made supper again, and we watched an episode of "Fringe".
