Today I am grateful for:

Sunshine, and that last night's rain did not slow down the basement construction.

Getting some doors taken to Habitat for Humanity in town, though they didn't take everything.

Getting MORE groceries, because the one guy working here is making me feel like I'm not doing enough for lunches (he wants to bring hotdogs, which doesn't seem like a big deal, but violates my personal boundary of no meat here, and makes me feel bad about me making him naan bread and vegetarian burgers. So I went and bought some super expensive veggie sausages, hoping that he feels like I'm trying hard enough).

Remembering to get fuel in the nick of time (my husband has a terrible habit of driving vehicles right down to empty, and letting ME discover that as I'm driving to town, or when the light starts flashing).

Finding some good DVDs, and doing some scouting for stools for our kitchen island.

Really enjoying the drawing pad I got a week or so ago. There's no way I can do any kind of painting or anything right now, but the computer program lets me feel like I'm keeping up with doing something creative.
