gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Managing okay today though I didn't sleep that well last night.
We went to the city for a "fun" day.
It was quite cold last night, so it was good that it was a tad better today.
We went to Micheal's for a few craft items for me.
Then we went to MEC to look for a warm undershirt for my Sweetie, as his are mostly in tatters. He found one, as well as a pair of climbing pants on sale.
Then we went to THE mall to shop at Simon's so my Sweetie could get socks, again since many of his are in tatters.
I found a lovely scarf.
We went to the food court and ate, and it was SO BUSY today. I guess because the entire city has Black Friday sales. I kind of wish they didn't do that, as it makes everywhere just nuts. Every place we went to was a frenzy.
Then we went to the Rock and Gem show (free admission today, woo hoo!), and I showed decent restraint and only got a few strands of beads. I did enjoy browsing.
What's nice, is that I've been to enough bead and rock stores and shows that I'm not so overwhelmed that I can't think, and I'm not thinking "I need all the rocks and beads!!!".
We got a few groceries from T&T on our way out of the mall, as it's things we can't get at a regular store. Mostly I like getting vegan jerky there.
Then my husband made quite a detour out of our way to get coffee beans from the book store we frequent. We only got coffee beans (I stayed in the car, I'd walked enough for one day in the giant mall).
We came home, and it was so nice to just stand in our yard for a minute, with the stars everywhere, and the moon. As nice as it is to visit the city, I'm glad we don't live there.
