Dec. 1st, 2025 02:10 amToday I am grateful for:
Okay sleep.
Lots of dreaming.
A lazy start to the day, nice to just sit and eat breakfast with my Sweetie.
He and Dan got more done today, and the interior of the pottery shed is close to being complete.
I changed the sheets, washed them, changed the cat litter, did normal chores, let everyone out into the larger pastures for a while.
Looked at the big invoice from the vet with very little learned about why Wonder is so itchy. Sigh.
Texted a bit more with D about when we can take the kiln and pottery wheel out of her house (maybe next weekend?).
My Sweetie, Roxy, and I walked around the horse pasture a few times.
Then I went to the barn to see River while my Sweetie stayed home to bake loaves for his lunches.
River did well today, with good energy and focus. When I rode him, I did the "focus games" R suggested before we did anything else, and did much better with his trot, being more loose and relaxed as opposed to tight and resisting and racing the trot to the right lead.
It was a beautiful night with lots of stars and a three quarters full moon throwing lots of light.
I came home and cooked, and my Sweetie installed the new DVD drive in our computer.
We watched a pretty old movie called "Cutthroat Island" that is pretty fluffy fare, but swashbuckling fun if you don't expect too much. It has Geena Davis, so that's the main selling point.
