Good sleep.
My Sweetie had to do some work on the little electric heater in the pottery studio, it had quit working at some point. He wanted to lay the flooring down in the studio today, but it has to warm up first.
So he went climbing, as well as running some errands in town.
I finally got around to ordering some contact lenses, in order to use up an allotment through our insurance before we switch over to another provider.
I did chores, and it's been snowing a lot the last day or so. It would have been nice to have it in the form of rain in the summer when it was so dry, but it's STILL dry, so I guess we'll take whatever we get.
I put Dandy in with Wonder for a while, and let Ursula and the goats out for a little while.
It was cold enough that Roxy's feet were getting cold from doing chores. It was about -15 C this afternoon.
I was able to dress well enough that I felt okay later on when working with River, so that's good.
I shared the arena with R and her daughter L, and L wanted me to play tunes, so I did.
I usually play music when it's just River and I, but I defer to whomever else is in the arena if they don't want music.
River did well. He had to focus during Liberty work on just me; his first thought was to follow the other horses, but I got his attention back and he seemed to understand after that. We don't often do Liberty with other horses around. It's a good challenge.
He did well today, good energy and focus. When I rode, his trot was good in both directions, no racing.
After putting the horses away we all went upstairs briefly to see the kittens.
The woman with health challenges wasn't here today, she wasn't feeling well. I hope she's okay, being sick for her is probably awful with her issues.
I came home and made supper, and my Sweetie came home shortly. We watched another episode of "The White Lotus", and there was some smut in this one, but it did feel like it advanced the characters.
