Today I am grateful for:

Good sleep.

Time with my Sweetie before we had to do things.

We did our chores and such. It wasn't horribly cold except for a biting wind. It was snowing lightly most of the day, so I put blankets on Wonder and ponies because they were getting a build up of ice on their backs.

We came in and cleaned up, and headed to our friends' home not far from us. These are "house work" friends, and also just friends.

I actually haven't seen them for a while. Not an actual visit, anyhow. My husband drops in on them sometimes when he's out running errands.

Anyhow, we had a nice supper and visited, though when my friend kind of strayed into her sort of...state, where she gets kind of going on a topic that NO ONE CARES about, but somehow doesn't seem to perceive it, and you can tell she'd go on for an hour if you didn't stop her...I suggested we play a game.

We usually play this one card game with marbles and a board that is quite fun and works well with four people. So that's what we did.

We played three games, and it was nice. My family used to play TONS of card games and board games when I was a kid, and while I know that SOME people still play them, it's not anywhere near as common as it used to be.

Then we headed home, and that was about it for today.

I am truly grateful for so many things. Our home. Our animals. Each other. Our friends (It's taken a long time to build these relationships, and it's becoming apparent to me that they really are our friends). Having sufficient means to be comfortable. Being able to pursue hobbies. Physical well being.

So many things.
