Jan. 20th, 2026 01:19 amToday I am grateful for:
Decent sleep, though the cats woke me up a bit early.
I did speak with Sister E briefly, and not about anything too memorable. I did express my concerns that TW might be drinking again, as I've had some erratic phone calls with her lately.
Getting chores and dog whiz laundry and dishes done before heading off to town.
It's been colder this week, around -12 C, as opposed to last week's above zero.
I got fuel, then headed to pottery.
I saw D there, and got her to sign as the witness to my release of Mom's will, more or less a statement that I saw the will, read and understand it, and I'm not contesting it or the authority of the executors.
Once again, I didn't have a lot of time at the studio, but I did glaze the items that were ready, though I never feel like I have enough confidence or skill with glazing to feel good about it.
I'm hoping that once we get going at home, I can find ways to make glazing more consistent.
Then I went to get groceries, and I am always grateful for being able to do so. It wasn't a huge trip this time, which is nice.
I got home and my Sweetie was just starting to do his baking for his lunches, so we put away groceries and once the kitchen was free, we made supper and chatted until his banana loaves were done.
Then he headed to bed.
