37. Describe your daily routine when you get out of bed in the morning.

First, it's rarely morning. I get up, make "breakfast" (usually two fried eggs on WW toast, coffee), then I feed cats and dog, then I put on clothes and feed outdoor animals. If I'm going somewhere I wait until chores are done to shower and put on "town" clothes. This is my routine most of the time.

38. What was the longest amount of time you have spent waiting on line for something? What was it, and was it worth the wait? Waiting IN line? I don't know. Probably waiting in line at the opening of Salt Lake City's new public library to get a book signed by Neil Gaiman. I no longer remember how long it took, four hours or more? I suppose it was worth it, as he is one of my favorite all-time authors, and it was kind of fun to wait in line with my friend. That said, when we finally got to meet him, he looked exhausted, it didn't feel very personal, and I kind of felt like it was unfair to make him do this kind of thing, though I know he did it because he believes in libraries (though I'm sure he also gets paid, and it's required of him by his publisher to do signings).

39. Name one thing you have always been good at doing.

Reading. I always had good reading and comprehension skills as a kid.

40. What is your favorite season, and why? Well, sometimes Canada seems like we only have Winter and Not Winter, because spring here isn't like spring in other places, and often Fall is just either more summer or more winter. I like Not Winter the best. Though not having mosquitos in Winter is nice.

41. What was the title of the last book you read? The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Steig Larsson.

42. List your biggest regrets. Not travelling a lot.

43. Have you ever seen a ghost? No, but I've had some experiences that would be hard to explain without them being supernatural. My husband and I agree that our house in Wyoming was still inhabited by it's former owner for awhile, and at some point we both felt like he had moved on.

44. Describe your note-taking style and habits.

Very neat, organized, and comprehensive when I took notes in College. At home, my notes are still useful, but I tend to use an envelope or a piece of paper and write all over it in different directions as I write down different phone numbers or whatever over a few weeks.

45. Do you believe that we are all here for a reason? What might the reason be?

I believe that we are all intrinsically valuable, but I don't believe that we have a specific reason for being here, or that we all have a "Purpose". We feel BETTER if we have a Purpose, but that's up to us; how we want to spend our lives. Being a professional drag queen is just as good as being a doctor, being an artist, a gardener, or a designer. I feel like it's kind of strange to engage in very abstract things like taxes or banking for one's whole life, but hey, you gotta do something I guess. I do think that people should find their passion, even if what they do for a living is not their passion. That's not the same as their reason for being here. I don't understand the existence of living things at all; we're basically animated dirt.

46. What comes to mind when someone uses the phrase prolonging the magic? Desensitizing condoms.

47. Have you ever done something just to feel the danger, or to feel alive?

Though I have done things that are somewhat dangerous (riding horses, driving a car, riding a bike in the city), I don't crave danger per se. I do lots of things to feel alive, such as riding horses, hiking and snowshoing and kayaking/canoing. I also feel alive when I create art, or read a book, or go to a museum, or even just sit with my animals for awhile. Basically any activity that I enjoy.

48. What is your favorite cliché? I hate cliches. I really do.

49. What are all your thoughts on god? That god is unknowable, and since there doesn't seem to be any direct involvement by god in events that I can see, possibly god either doesn't exist or is irrelevant. Any god that matters is just the idea that we all belong to a greater thing than ourselves, which is humanity as a whole, or to the connectivity of all living beings.

50. How do rainy days make you feel? It depends. I really like rain if it's not too cold, and rain after a dry spell or to cool things off after a few hot days is really nice. Spring rain can be wonderful to clean things, and fall rain can be pretty. I mostly just don't enjoy days and days of rain, when you don't need any more right now for the growing things, or when it kind of keeps raining and it's just muddy and wet all the time.

51. What is the most amount of money you have had at one time? My own business.

52. Write a celebrity crush list. Really, shamefully long. Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tim Minchin, Noel Fielding, Russell Brand, Richard Ayoade, Neil Gaiman, most of the Pythons, Bruce Campbell, the guys from Flight of the Conchords, Aiden Turner, Jon Hamm, Jon Stewart, Keanu Reeves, Brendan Frasier, Mandy Patinkin, Tom Hardy, Eddie Izzard, and so on. No list will be complete. I like 'em funny, a bit odd, smart, and musical/creative.
