Today I am grateful for:

Even though there will be some delay as we wait for an inspection of the basement, my sweetie has plans for making this time productive towards the house project.

A day in town where I got to do fun things while my sweetie got applications to the right people (it didn't require us both). I went to the thrift store and found very cool pants, handmade polar fleece mitts, and a beautiful old Noritake dish. I browsed in the artsy store but didn't buy anything, and found a happy rainbow sweater hoodie and a classy linen summer jacket at a consignment store.

We got some groceries together for a change. Not one of the monster trips like I've been doing, but enough to feel like we'll be good for the rest of the week at least. We've caught up a bit; for awhile it seemed like we were out of everything we normally eat.

A quiet evening of reading, with superb kitty snuggles.
