Today I am grateful for:

My sweetie and I picked up his car from the local mechanic. It's been done for a while now, but with everything going on in our yard, we had nowhere to park it so we left it there where it was out of the way.

I got some nice snuggles from the mechanic's dog. It's a huge floofy love monster.

Coming home and working on bringing in carrots and potatoes and beets from the garden. It's been getting quite cold here the last day or two, and a serious reminder that we have to get busy. My sweetie cleared a space in the garage to lay the potatoes out to dry off, and we brought in a few big pails of them. We brought in a bunch of carrots, some to be stored in the fridge (they'll keep for a month or so in there), and some to be frozen. I have a pail of beets that I will cook and freeze hopefully tomorrow.

A nice warm bath after getting soaked in the rain.

Watching the older, animated movie "The Ghost in the Machine" and while I kept falling asleep through it, I have to say that the artwork was beautiful.
