My sweetie is making good progress over at our friend's house, tearing down their old house.
A good phone conversation with my Mom.
Going to the riding barn with my sweetie. River's foot is bothering him very little, but we soaked it in disinfectant and cleaned it out. I had a good ride with him, and he seemed comfortable. I cleaned and soaked his foot again after riding, to make sure no sand was left where it might get into wherever the abscess drained from, and I brought a boot from home that fit him, so he can wear that to keep his hoof clean in the corral.
We cleaned my tack, which really needed it. I brought my saddle pad home to wash.
A quiet evening at home, mostly I just read and snuggled cats.
