Today I am grateful for:

My sweetie and I took the kitchen door off (it goes outside) and planed it so that it would open and close again. Moving the house onto the basement changed how it fit into the frame slightly. Now it works again, which is good, because this is the door we wanted to use for muddy boots and farm jackets, not the nice front entry way that we've had to use for a few weeks.

Being able to have a warm shower!

The plumbers were here, and are moving everything around as they hook up the plumbing for the bathroom we're going to have in the basement. Right now, we can't use the kitchen sink, but we can use the bathroom.

Between the hot water tank not working until today, and now the kitchen sink being disconnected, dishes are starting to be an issue. At least there's hope that I can clean the kitchen tomorrow.

Going to town to the beautiful old theatre to see a live production of "The Addams Family". I don't know how this kind of thing works; I guess someone out there writes a play, and some music, and then a group like this buys the right to perform it? This performance was based on the known characters, only Wednesday was an adult and fell in love with a normal person, and wanted to get married. The whole play was about the family of Wednesday's fiancee coming to meet the Addam's family. It was sweet, and funny, and some good singing. It was nice to be clean and nicely dressed up and go on a "date" with my sweetie. If nothing else, I like to support this theatre whenever we get the opportunity.
