Today I am grateful for:

My sweetie and I got the horse waterer running. It has been disconnected all summer because of the construction. The water and power for it have to come from the house, and we are only just now getting the power and sewer in the new house location up and running. There might be some bugs in the system yet, but at least for now it's working.

We also got the right size of plywood cut to make a semi-permanent floor in the tiny porch, the one we haven't been able to use lately.

I made some potato soup for my sweetie (it doesn't fit my eating plan, too much fat, too much carbs), and he really liked it, so I decided to make a second batch so that he could give it to our friends tomorrow for lunch (some people are coming to help again).

Getting some laundry done.

Watching the last two episodes of "Good Omens", which wrapped up the story. It was SO GOOD! I really like that it was all done in one season. I kind of hate following along with a series, season after season, but it loses the story arc and you don't know what the point is anymore, and then it ends without a proper ending (as in, gets cancelled). For example, I LOVE Game of Thrones, but the fact that the whole thing kind of went to shit after the show moved past where George had written the books bothers me a lot. He's likely never going to write a real ending to it, and though I haven't seen the last season of GOT yet, I almost don't care because it won't feel like the real ending.
