Today I am grateful for:

Though it is now quite cold outside, the house is staying warm enough.

A good day in the city with my sweetie, mostly as a sanity day. This last week, every day felt like it was all one day for me, just sitting in my living room mostly. Too repetitive.

Picked up a book on hold for me at the little used bookstore. Slaughterhouse Five. Got a few other things too. I had made quite an effort to bring in our own books and some DVDs to trade at the store, and they only took a few things, which was surprising, but it did pay for half of our new items today. I try to bring in books we're done with each time, and it helps considerably.

Having the time to walk around and go into some of our favorite little shops on Whyte Ave. We haven't had time to do this in a while.

Coming home and having a good nap.

Then I worked more on my paintings for Christmas cards, and got 6 more done.

That the animals seem comfortable enough on this cold night. My one little goat has a much better coat this winter.
