Today I am grateful for:

My sweetie got more rebar laid out in the basement , and I will tie the intersections when I have the chance.

One nice thing about my sweetie's current work schedule, is that he should be able to come with me to the barn on the weekend. My riding friend is being a flake and I don't know if she still wants to ride on Sunday anymore, but if my sweetie can come with me, then I know I won't be alone in the arena.

Being able to ride today. I tried finding extra times to ride this week, and each time there were lessons going on (you can't ride during group lessons). I THOUGHT I was paying attention to the schedule, but I kept messing up. At least I could ride today.

River felt good and forward finally, and we got some good working trots and some good, big canters. I was pretty happy with his effort today.

That the giant group of kids let me run through a practice test before swarming the arena.

It was nice seeing people around.

We paid the guy who helped us build the basement. He is basically who we hired so that we could get all the permits and so on. It sucks to see all the money go away, but good to get this bill paid.

I managed to make my sweetie supper before he headed out to work.

Getting more clothes hung up properly in the room upstairs, and putting light jackets away now that it is colder.

A good phone conversation with my Mom.
