Today I am grateful for:

Having a good little car that gets me where I want to go.

A good lesson on River. He started out being kind of jumpy and not responsive. He's like this sometimes. We worked through it and ran through some of the training level tests with the instructor. The good news is, she felt he was moving fairly forward today. Often we have to really struggle to get him moving out nicely. I got some very good working trot later, after the lesson.

Nice to be around the people at the barn today. It was a grey, snowy day, and it would have been a bit depressing to be at home today.

Being able to let go of a box of books that got water damaged this summer.

Getting a few more things sorted out and put away from the mountain of stuff that ended up in the living room. I very much want everything cleaned up for the holidays.
