Today I am grateful for:

Continued mild weather for this time of year. Pretty fog towards evening.

Getting a text from a niece I don't hear from very much, as well as from my sister. I'm trying to keep texting my sister, and calling more often, since her partner died last week. I know that she's going to need support for quite a while, not just the week of his death.

Going for a walk at the park down the road. We really haven't been walking there as much as we normally do; usually I'd walk there once a week or so. Anyhow, it was nice to go with my sweetie and Roxy. We only got one chickadee to eat from our hand, but maybe we were there later in the day than they are used to.

We went into town to see the newest Star Wars, and while it was well-acted and visually stunning as usual, the story was nothing more than the same recycled crap that the last six episodes have done over and over and over again. It was just nice to get cleaned up and go watch a movie with my sweetie.
