Today I am grateful for:

A good day in town, getting a bunch of stuff done. We got Jones's special food, the mail, checked in with the bank about a saving's account, got some paint, went to the thrift store, paid the bills.

At home, I worked on mending another pair of my sweetie's pants. He wears out the knees on his pants something fierce.

Then, the septic backed up into the basement, so we had to drag several bags of animal bedding shavings into the basement, let it soak up the mess, and then shoveled the slop into a pail and out through the window (that's how we get in and out of the basement right now). Apparently the new septic tank froze up, not sure why yet, and that's why it backed up. Fun, right? I'm grateful that my sweetie was home to help deal with it. We're getting someone out tomorrow to look at it all and figure out what happened.

Then we watched an old movie, "Novocaine", which was supposed to be a comedy, but really wasn't.
