Taking a load of garbage to the dump, and saying 'hi' to the woman who works there.
Taking the repaired cat trees back to the cat rescue. While we were in town, we also picked up dewormer for Roxy, some animal bedding shavings/pellets to replace what we used in the basement, and got some groceries.
Having a quiet evening just reading and napping. We watched "Give 'em Hell Malone", an old favorite of ours.
I'm grateful for the warm companionship of our animals, and of my sweetie. For good books and warm chairs when it's cold and dark outside. For sunshine and reasonable temperatures outside. For being able to keep in touch with my family with phones, even if I don't live close to them. For being able to buy healthy food.
