Today I am grateful for:

Ongoing pleasant weather.

My sweetie, diligently plugging away at the paper work.

A good ride on River today. He was a little too warm, given that he has his winter hair and all, but we had a good ride. I felt like he was giving me a good effort.

Another boarder and her daughter were there, and they wanted to see if their pony would roll in the sandy arena (they see me letting River roll in there after our ride is done, as long as it doesn't interfere with anyone else's riding). For some reason, their pony wasn't too interested in rolling, and they REALLY wanted her to roll, so WE were all laying down and rolling, to show her it was safe. She still didn't roll, but it was also hilarious that we were rolling in the sand. I'm sure she thought we were nuts. I had fun.

I really enjoyed this woman's company. She's a lot of fun.

The waterer was working today, and we didn't see any evidence of horses in that pen having issues from last night, so that was good.

Some pretty fog as the sun went down.

Coming home and watching a movie together. This has really become our routine for the holidays!

Making some plans with friends of ours for later this week, and actually deciding to pick up things around the house tonight instead of waiting until the last minute.
