Today I am grateful for:

Our break in the cold weather finally happened today. From nearly a week of colder than -30 C to only -6 C.

I was able to bring the goats back out of the garage. I'm sure they were happy not to be cooped up.

I was able to go for a short walk (only because I didn't get there until late in the day) at the park down the road with Roxy. I fed the chickadees too.

Spending the evening working on my painting. I don't know if this one is any better than many other paintings I've done, but I worked on it a long time, going over it again and again until I hated it less. At least it gave me something to do during the cold spell.

Sunday:

My sweetie is safely back at work, and now he and some other guys got an apartment instead of living in hotels.

Riding River for the first time in a week or more. It was just too cold. Today was still cold, but not like it has been. I saw my riding friend, and another woman I see there quite a bit. I think all of us were grateful to be riding.

Spending the evening working on drawing tutorials.
