Today I am grateful for:

Continued upward trend in temperatures. The snow was melting off the roof today, and turning to slush on the ground. I love the longer days, and the brightness in the sun. My overall mood is much better, getting past the dark winter blahs.

A good phone conversation with my Mom.

A great riding lesson on River. He really put in a good effort, and we got a really nice collected trot, and then canter. Very forward and bigger movement than we usually do. I'm glad he's feeling better, after being half-starved earlier this winter.

Good socializing with others at the barn.

Coming home to all of my sweet "greeters".
